Hilary,

My symptoms are exactly as you describe them. I wonder what causes the tooth ache and neck pains? Do you get tooth ache in the right side at any other time or is it just during a cluster? I only ask because I have continual discomfort in my teeth on the right side although much worse during a cluster. Also I have a clicking in my jaw on the same side. Do you get any symptoms in your ear. I get stabbing pains and a sensation that my ear is blocked. Sometimes my ear will 'pop' and I feel that pressure has been released. The pain in my neck can result in my neck being very tender even sore to touch. During a cluster I also find that my scalp and the back of my neck can 'sting' to touch. Whilst all of these 'secondary' symptoms do not compare with the intense pain of the headache, when taken together over a period of time they can have as much of an effect on my ability to cope with the condition as the headache itself.

James
