My diabetes type II was diagnosed in 1991, at age 54. I take 120 mg / day of Gliclazide and my sugar values have ever since been within normal limits (6 - 10 milli-mol / milli-liter, I have no idea in what units you measure). Clusters started 2 years later in 1993. I think there is no connection between CH and diabetes, at least for my case.
