I'm a big lithium fan when it works, because I get no side effects. Unfortunately, it works for me some years and some years it doesn't. When a cycle starts, I'll try 1200 mg/day, and if it's going to be effective the headaches will stop within two days. Then I throttle back to 600 mg/day for the duration. If I still have CH's after two days at 1200, I give up and go on to the next option (sansert for me, then prednisone/verapamil).
