Imitrex injections and pills are good relievers for the pain. Try also Verapamil (under MD surveillance) wich in my case helped a lot to ruduce the intensity of the attacks till they became "almost bearable". I started with 1 pill
(120 mg) for 3 days, the 2 pills for 4 days and then 3 pills for 3 weeks. Then back again same way. C/H did not go away but its much much better then in the beginning of the bout. Good luck - Cesare
