Heather, thank you so much for posting this. We know how private your mom is but I'm glad you brought this out into the open. Your sister Deveny was worried that your mom would be mad, but it really needed to be said.
I, like Amanda, have my ideas who it is as well but will probably never know for sure. The person that is doing this is sicker than your mom will ever be. We have to have faith that what goes around, comes around and one day they will have to atone for this.
Your mom probably won't be reading this message because she IS very serious about leaving the website. Selfishly, I am upset that she is also leaving OUCH - she has done SO much behind the scenes that very few people know about. I'm sure most everyone here remembers that Elaine was the first person to contact them, if they signed the guestbook. She has now sent me her convention files and, like you say, she has done so much that no one realizes or will EVER realize without being asked that it amazes me how someone thinks she deserves cruelty like this.
The person that is doing this is jealous of Elaine's popularity here. It is so sad how one voice can change so much when the rest of us love your mom unconditionally.
We all have to understand and respect your mom's wishes here to leave the website and OUCH. She knows who her true friends are and she knows we will all stay in touch with her.
Your mom's friendship is a real gift to me and my family. And you, Heather, are showing the same qualities your mom has. You're a pretty cool gal, kiddo. Not many kids would care enough to monitor this as closely as you and your sister have. But then again, you've got a pretty damn good teacher.
