I have suffered from C/Hs for 7 yrs I have tried everything under the sun & moon, since thats when most of the attacks happen (2:00-6:00am) .My C/Hs come in groups of 5 for no other reason than a change in the weather . I've held my head in an oven turned 350 degrees to burn the pain away. My C/Hs start off as a dull anoying pain that can last for a few mins. or turn into an ice pick being forced into my eye pushed through my skull and hit with a hammer every time I take a breath for hours, this happens on an average of 10-12 days a month for the last 7 years.
I am a hairdresser, a single father with a 3 year old daughter and I can't tell you how many times I've had to cancel an appointment or miss time with my little girl.My business has droped in half,imagine your hairdresser missing appointment after appointment w/ a so called headache.
My 1st wife left after I became vocaly abusive from the pain I was feeling. Since then she and I have become good friends.
The mother of my child and I split up 2yrs. ago after I could no longer keep my temper; when after a night of slamming my head against the bath tub, pouring scalding hot water over my face ,eating 6-10 asprin,PRAYING TO GOD ALL MIGHTY to just make it stop; she woke me up w/ some trivale matter and I told her to get out. I meant out of my face but she took it as, out of my life,and she was gone.
That was 2 yrs. ago, I now see my little girl 3 times a week she brings hope and happiness to my life, and life for me is allways an uphill strugle.
Oprah, I wish that someone like you could help bring some attention to the, only God knows how many people how suffer every day from what I read in people magazine as (the most excuiating pain known to man).I Watch your show from time to time I'm allways touch by the people you help. I just found this WEB SITE and it saddens me that so many have to feel such pain as I KNOW. PLEASE HELP AND PRAISE GOD.
