I have been using 5mg.Zomig for the past year with great results. If I take the Zomig when I first feel a CH comming on, it seems to work within 20-30 minutes and keeps my CH at bay for 8-10 hours at a time. I recently tried 25mg. Imitrex instead of the Zomig and it seems to take longer to take effect than the Zomig and doesn't last as long.
The best thing I have found is Stadol Nasal Spray. One or two squirts when I first start to feel the pain of a CH, and it litterally goes away within a matter of 5 minutes or less!!!
My neuro reccomended it last year for me, and am I ever grateful. I have had no negative side effects with the Stadol, and my life has much improved because of it.
