I have been suffering from CH for about a year. I have been on Depakote (250 mg three times a day) for about three months. I have not had a CH during that time. The side effects (Weakness and Joint pain) are bothersome but worth it not to have the CH's. I was previously on Lithium, then Verapamil. I could not tolerate the side effects of these at all.
