In the past I have tried pain killers (opiates) for my clusters. On the 2 or 3 occasions I've tried them, they did absolutely noting for my CH. In my mind it is much better to treat the cause of the pain rather than trying to mask the pain. It seems to me that I read that pot is a vasso-dialtor. I believe anything we smoke has in it CO as a by-product of the combustion process. CO binds to the blood cells and reduces their capacity to carry O2. The blood vessels dialate to carry more blood and more O2. If the pain is from the vessels dialating, why would we want to use something that increases the dialation.

Sorry, but to me opiates and pot are out the window.

Stick with medications not addictions!
