So, are they worth looking into? MAOs break down 5-HT. MAOIs inhibit this break down and increase the levels of 5-HT. I know there are strict dietary requirments when taking the stuff (because of tyramine (sp)).
There's a list of MAOI's at http://nepenthes.lycaeum.org/Drugs/Misc/maois.html Anyone ever been on these and did they do any good? (If they did you probably wouldn't be here, duh).
