Bob J., you raise some really good points about being able to draw from the current research being done into migraines. It's not like migraine and cluster are as different as epilepsy and diabetes is it? Sometimes, in our frustration to keep our site "pure" (forgive me, for want of a better word), we forget that both maladies while very separate from each other do fall into the same neurological scheme of things.
I think the post this morning about the pace maker is a prime example of this. Clusters may not have been mentioned in that research but it could be that our miracle "cure" will be found like this: accidentally, while researching a cure for something else. We don't want to be accused of throwing the baby out with the bathwater and should always stay open minded about alternative thinking.
