I've been visiting this site for many months now, but never really felt brave enough to post. However, I am going through the worst episode of CH EVER and am at my wits end. About a year ago I contacted Dr Goadsby's clinic in London and received a questionnaire which I duly completed and returned. I had a couple of conversations with his associate, but nothing more as I was not experiencing CH. I got a call today from the clinic (coincidence as I was just wondering whether life was worth living with this monster) They want me to go for scans on 2nd Nov - before, during and after an attack (they will induce an attack - horror!) and ensure I am treated afterwards. I will post the results and findings on the message board after my visit. Hope this is of interest to you all. By the way, I am treated with oxygen and Naramig - a sumitriptan derived drug, and also Aspro Clear Max (soluble aspirin, but in BIG doses - I inadvertently overdosed a few weeks ago and ended up in hospital - not a cry for help, just wasn't aware that I had taken 60 in four days) I used to visit this site under my maiden name Linda Corcoran, but have since got married (hence the new name!) and luckily I had no unwelcome visitors on the day! I was pain free and so I don't think these headaches are stress related - not in my case. Anyway, as I said I'll post the results in a few days.
