Serotonin: I asked doc greg to straighten me out whether serotonin increases or decreases in CH. He said increases. Doc Goadsby answered increases. I've got two articles from Dr's which say decreased serotonin causes them. I'm completely lost. Next step is e-mails to Diamond and Kudrow. Also asked Linda if she would ask Goadsby to put together a short outline of what changes happen during CH. Increased histamine, increased/decreased serotonin, decreased hormones, etc. What's been documented with lab tests to date?

Age and hormones: Back to Goadsby's hypothalamus. They hypo controls the pituitary which tells the body which hormones to make. Maybe with age the hypo slows down like the rest of our body systems which could cause lowered testosterone and lowered serotonin and the CH stop. Again don't know if lowered hormones are a cause or result.

One of these days I'm gonna get this all straight in my head.

Who knows! Feeling kinda frustrated right now. But I'll stick with it.
