Yeah that's just a really stupid doctor. That makes absolutely no sense what so ever. I've never used a "narcotic" for my chronic Cluster Headaches. I have used lots of different types of preventative and abortive medicines, but never a narcotic. My Neurologist, who I helped educate, and I have decided that narcotics are worthless for Cluster Headaches.
