Thanks for the help. The doc just switched me from atenolol 50mg yesterday, during the attack. He decided to "ween" me from that med, and start me on verapamil. I was taking atenolol for slight hypertension, prior to that prescription my bp was around 140/98. The doc said verapamil would take care of both ch and hypertension.
My overall condition is good, other than the bp problem. I thought about the position change, but the dizziness lasted several hours. That's what caused my concern. Thanks again for your help. Greg
