Like Harley, I have been using the Imitrex injections VERY frequently during the last two months. The most was 6 in one day and usually at least one or two. I gave oxygen many chances again this episode, but unfortunately for me, no help. So far I don't notice or recognize any ill effects from the Imitrex. Mostly I notice that during times when I am using more, the side effects (for me a crawly feeling in my back and scalp) are absent or very slight. After a few days off the side effect returns with the early shots. I like the idea of limiting the dosage and will be exploring that.
If there was any known predisposition to heart trouble I would be much more nervous about it.
