I agree with drummer, try verapamil first. Find a neuro that knows what he is doing, Tell people here where you live, we have a pretty good network of good doctors going here. Verapamil doesn't work for everyone, but I have been HA free for my last two cycles thanks to it.

Regarding sleep, again this doesn't work for everyone, but I have had great success with it. Take two Tylenol Pm an hour before going to bed. I almost never got a HA at night when taking the tylenol Pm. I did however, always have one within an hour of getting up in the morning. (I considered it pain scheduling) It was the only way I got any sleep. It isn't the tylenol that is keeping the HA away but the sleep aid. It keeps you from entering deep sleep. Hey for $2.99 at Wal-Mart it's worth a try.
