Your attacks sound much like mine. I had trouble with Imitrex when I first started using it. It would prolong the attacks from the normal 45 mins of intence pain to 2 or 3 hours.. I stoped using it and went to somthing else,," I don't remember what anymore ??" Anyhow check the time you had the last real CH. They tend to return at about the same time. For me they come about one hour earlier each day..Sometimes a hot wash cloth will stop the pain of one that's not a real big CH.
Note: for some people it's a cold wash cloth..
