To me it sound`s as if you do suffer from CH.
All CH attack`s can very. Some you can read straight out of a book other`s you can not.
Let us know what the MRI say`s.
I`m chronic suffer of 28 year`s now. The way you talk about oneside,running eye`s an nose. Sometime pain lasting for 48-72 hour`s or the come in spirt`s an hard to keep your attention. Sound`s like CH to me.
For example right now I`m under a 9 attack. I`ve been under attack with CH since monday. The lowest it goes is 8. I`m usually beaking at a 10+. My sympton`s left eye is watering my my sinus or really bad. The left side of my face is swollen an I`m running a slit fever, but only on the left side.
It get`s to the point where you want to pull your own eyeball out. I do take Vemarpamil 240mg`s Elavil 75mg`s an naporson 1550mg`s an water at least at this time in my ch attack I try to get a gallon in a day. I know I`m forgetting something. I have not found anything that will abort my CH when it get`s to this point.
Sleep is only a dream. If I`m really really lucky I might get 3-5 hour`s straight. It has gone down into my jaw`s and neck. Eatting is a big no no for me. Headbanging at this time is a no. Holding it an trying to put pressure where it hurt`s the most is what I do. Even though it doesnt help. Cold to the left side help`s very little.
If I was you I would go ahead with the Veapamil. See what you MRI say`s.
To me any side affect`s I might get from my med`s can not be worse than the pain I`m in. Also for me computer`s or not a good thing to be on at this time. Even though I try. It can only be at very short period`s at a time. Think is very hard. So I`m really hoping some of this does make since to you.
