I'd like to thank everyone for their answers.
I was inhaling as hard as I could, and doing it
more slowly is definitely better. I'm sure the
injections work better, but there are all sorts
of practical reasons why the inhaler is better;
you can take it with you, you don't need any
papers (saying that you can buy/use injections),
etc. Also, my insurance pays for the spray but
not for the injectable (which makes no sense, but
that doesn't really help). And, if it works, I'm
not going to let a little thing like grossness
(is that a word?) get in the way, when everything
else is less effective and more dangerous.
