Hello, I contacted this website in September, I am suprised to get any response.... but I am greatful too. well, I guess I'll start by saying something about myself!!!!! I am a 30 year old female who has been suffering with clusters for about 15years now. my patterns run different each time. at first every 9 months or so for about 4-5 weeks. then nothing for 9 more months!!!! then in my 20s I started getting them every 18 months for 6-8 weeks!(better time span. but they deffinatly last longer!!!!!) my last severe attack started in july of this year. and lasted through september!!!!that was my first attack in two in a half years!!!!!! THIS LAST ATTACK WAS WORSE THEN EVER!!!!!!!! I am fearfull that the longer I go without an attack.... the worse the NEXT one will be!!!!! I am happy to report that i have not had any pain now for almost eight weeks, I was told for ten years that I had severe sinus infections or that the pain was due to an impacted sinus!!!!! I remember going to the Dr. and getting injections of pennicillin and antihistimines only to wake up that night in awful pain of cluster (and a very dry nose!) I was finally diagnosed in 1993 by a neurologist who knew what he was talking about!!!!!!! sometimes my husband and I are scared that I have A brain tumor or that i'll suffer long term damage. but so far so good!!!!!!!!!!I was told untill recently that the only people who suffer from clusters are middle aged men who drink too much, and since I am neither of those, I always felt like something was wrong with me!!!!!!!! when I found this web site. I was amazed by how many women also suffer. So if anyone has any advice for me, or if I can help anyone. just contact me by mail... be sure you put the subject as..
