Oxygen works as a seratonin synthesizer- other drugs do the same- like prozac and indocin- they are seratonin reuptake inhibitors which means they allow more seratonin to be in your system. They have helped me prevent headaches from coming on- I use the Oxygen to treat individual headcaches while I wait for the indocin and prozac to start working.good luck.
