I used a TENS unit at home during last couple of cycles. I believe
it did help. It did not break the cycle though. I used it across
the sides of my neck. In a sitting I went through various pulse rates
and intensity of shock. It is a great massage! I also used it on both
sides of my jaws sometimes. When turned up high, you muscles will
contract, causing a jumping sensation. I would keep it away from the
heart! Back, neck, shoulders - worked great to reduce pain, but not a
total cure. Like oxygen, somedays it worked better than others. Early
in my headache history, the orthodontist used a TENS on me experimentally.
This before correct diagnosis and headaches were comparatively mild. After
a TENS treatment, I would be headache free for several days. He also had
me on Flexeril muscle relaxant. Sorry to run on... Best of luck to you. Rich
