Re: filtered water being bad for liver and kidney problems. I think you mean 'softened' water, where they replace minerals with sodium or potassium, don't you? Or is there another kind of filtered? The filtering I was referring to (the Britta type) doesn't do anything to the water except remove chlorine and some of the particulates in the water. Does this have an impact on liver/kidney problems? Or does the Britta type do more than I realized?

I really don't know, trying to clarify.
