The variable was prior to 5/97, after starting with the lights I have NOT had an episode to date. I DO believe the lights have stopped the CH, at least for 2 1/2 years.
Now on to the other questions:
I PRESUME the Full Spectrum and UV are the same, however I got the distributors name from that original web site and bought from him. That is Wayne Frederickson at 800 347-6170. The bulb I use is a 48" DuroTest Vita-Lite Power Twist(TH12-48). Wayne seemed versed in what I needed for the problem and the lamps were shipped immediately. This year I reordered to refresh the lamps and used him again. The lamps have a three year life, but some of mine were getting dimmer and when I replaced them I could tell the difference.
Gary, all I can tell you is it is working for me. IF I were you, don't hesitate, try them.
