also please understand, that long post I wrote is not AT you, actually I wish everybody would try to think about it
I've been hammering away on different experiments on my CH for 30 years, and know VERY VERY well, the excitement of a new bright idea,
and even more the dark disappointment and despair, when it turns out to be just another dead end or coincidence that isn't replicable
that has made me very very very cautious in what I say, what I accept as "fact", and what I am willing to include in my "bagof tools"-
and why I personally find it "safest" to try to stay in the very objective position, emotionally,
to avoid the disappointment and letdown,
I find it more peaceful to not let myself get all excited about something until it is "real"
even the $250 lamp I just bought - I don't EXPECT it to work, if it does GREAT, motto of the day: Plan For The Worst (the reward is in the HOPE anyway, not the expectation) BTW - good luck !
if it doesn't - it's my sister-n-law's Xmas present
