There is one technique which I discovered in desperation one night, which is my joy to share at last.
To cut down the pounding in my head I tried pressing dowm hard on my carotid arteries on either side and just above my larynx. It wiped away EVERY trace of the attack almost instantly, and the pain only gradually returned over the next minute.
I think that pressing in exactly the right spot does more than just cut off the blood supplly to the brain; it seems to trigger an enormous rush of endorphins straight into the brain, and I can frequenly achieve this "rush" in less than a second.
Sometimes it fails to work. Occasionally it even makes things worse.
It can also cause the sinus to drain and pop.
Don't do it standing up, as it can cause a slight blackout and you will fall over.
Pressing on one side of the neck only can work in mild attacks and can be done discretely enough to continue a meeting etc.
It causes retrograde amnesia, but would you want to remember the last five minutes?
It's not a cure, but it works. It is completely safe, I have been told by several doctors.
I hope this helps someone.

Love and regards. Marcus
