I tried the custom solution during my last episode. The doc gave me instructions to lie on my back, head tilted back and to the side away from the pain, and dropper the stuff to the back of the nasal cavity. I don't think it helped at all and tasted bad. Since oxygen quit working for me imitrex is my only friend. Best wishes to your husband.
