Jeremy:

I'm so sorry you're going through this. When my
cluster episode returned after supposedly ending,
I had a lot of the same thoughts. What's the use
of living if I'm going to be in this pain? Then
I've also gone through a lot of fear, because my
pattern is changing after 35 years of being the
same.

It sounds like you've been very thorough in your
research, but I'm throw another drug possibility
at you, just in case. Have you tried lithium?
Also, read through all the postings for drug
combinations. Sometimes the right med cocktail
will knock the headaches out. For instance,
someone wrote that along with their prednisone,
they took propanolol (sp?), which knocked it out.

I sometimes feel like my cluster is a living,
breathing entity with an intelligence all its own.
Just when I think I'm home free, as I did a month
ago, it rears up its ugly head and says, "Oh, year?"
That's what you think. And it always has the
last word.

Jackie
