I know exactly how you feel. I have been suffering with Chronic CH since 2/98 and have been turned down twice for SSI. What you have to do is appeal your first denial, then you should get denied a second time, and then hire an attorney who specializes in Disability cases to fight for your SSI. It won't be easy and will take some time (just what none of us have) but you must be persistent. I am still waiting for my hearing with an administrative law judge, but am confident I will win.
