Hi Everyone-
As most of you know, the post function wasn't working on the board last night. Apologies to all who were concerned about Elaine and couldn't get the word.
Heather, Elaines's daughter, talked to some of us last evening. The surgery went GREAT! The docs actually found less cancer than they had expected and so less radical procedures were required. As we all know, medical science isn't 'perfect', but the docs BELIEVE they got all of it.
The word is, on waking from the anesthetic, Elaine's first words were "Where's my computer?" She followed this up by trying to get out of bed and check herself out of the hospital. Fortunately, Nurse Crachitt was their to insist she gets a bit more rest first.
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and wishes. Please take an extra moment to write Elaine a quick note--y'all know she's going into ch.com withdrawal already!
