Greg -
Been away a few days, sorry for the late reply.

My dr told me verapamil was originally 'invented' to lower blood pressure and I've read here that people with low BP can't take verap. I no _nothing_ about causes of arhythmia but seems like blood pressure could affect heart rate? I haven't ever heard of the effect you mention, but I'm a rank newbie at the drug thing (you mean, I might be able to live withOUT the pain?). I'm just thinking the connection seemed logical.

Anyway, sounds like you're doing the right thing (working with your doctor); just wanted to remind you about the BP connection. Keep us posted on your situation. We, too, want you to stay alive and pain free.

Selene
