Hi guys, I understand your interest. I had the same thoughts myself when I first became interested in seeing a homeopath for my headaches. I though it might be cool if they used miniscule doses of serotonin, or something like it to treat CH's. However, the practitioner I saw had not thought of this idea, maybe one needs to bring up the idea.
This particular Homeopathic practioner asked me describe the way I felt during the cluster attack as well as having got a good description of my health history, my mental and physical makeup. He then prescribed a remedy based on my particular symptoms. I recall that one of the remedies was phosphorus because of the similarities in symptoms. Sepia was recommended for hormonal symptoms as well. These are just two of the remedies that I remember. Even though we all may suffer from CH's we still have individual differences and quirks that need to be taken into consideration. It is difficult to adequately describe how this science works, but I believe it has it's merits. I find the science of homeopathy very interesting and particularily like to study the symptom descriptions of the substances used to make up the homeopathic tinctures. I will definitely keep my eyes open for news in regards to your quiry.
