I've been taking it for over 4 years straight. My cycles have always come at irregular intervals of 1 to 4 months. I thought maybe it would help prevent the cycle from starting. Or maybe lesson the pain of the onset of a cycle. I guess there's no sense in going through the side effects if it's not going to help. I do believe it helps during the cycle for the most part, but not as well as the steroids for me.
