Clears me up if I have allergies, but I take Medrol which is a steroid similar to Prednisone. My doctor tells me there is a difference. Medrol comes in 4mg tablets. I take about 4-5 per day for 2-3 weeks when a cycle starts then taper off over a week or so. There has been one occasion I had to increase my dosage to 6-7 per day for the first few days of the cycle. And there has been time when I would have to start over again when I started tapering off. There just doesn't seem to be any consistency. Consult your doctor, he may change you to a different type of steroid.
