Worth a try.

Hi Landon!
I tried lidocaine spray(not drops) on the affected side right after the CH had stuck me, but the effect didn't last more than ten minutes. It just kept the pain "asleep" and it would strike back after the lidocaine effect was gone. After a couple days I started to use combined with imitrex shots, and lidocaine just helped me to keep calm and relaxed for the next "round" and to take the shot. I did not have any side effect and I gave up using it after a while since it didn't help by itself.
I believe it's worth a try if your CH attack does not last long . And as we know everyone has a different experience with medications and what might not be effective for one might be for you.
Good luck for you.
