Jerry,Sorry to hear you are suffering. Here are my tips,oxygen 8-10 litres per minute for 10-15 mins. will usually abort an attack. Preventive meds. I use- prednisone 80mgs for 7days then taper down to 60, 40, 20, 10 all for 7 day each dosage. Indocin is a good preventive for me too. Imitrex injections stop a full blown attack for me in about 15 mins.Good Luck! You are not alone.
