Actually one of the three places that serotonin is found in the body is the gastro-intestinal tract. I and others, I think Susan mentioned the gag/puke method below, have noticed that puking causes the HA to abort. This, I believe, is because the increased action of the GI system causes it to release it's load of serotonin which then finds it's way to the blood stream and the offending vessels in the head. Taking serotonin supplements increases GI motility.
Never tried the routine mentioned but there actually could be a link. But then again, maybe I'm just full of s--t!
