I'll admit it, I did move from LA to San Luis Opispo at the request of the Air Polution Control District. They felt I caused one too many level 3 alerts in LA. To meet goverment clean air standards they asked me to leave. Before I left they did ask me to pose for a map of the San Andreas fault.
BTW - the chef was Greek! (old saying, a good Greek soldier never leaves his friend's behind).
