Hi Tom,

I did a clinical trial for Zomig (zolmitriptan) about five months ago
and have been taking it every since. All I can say is, it works for
a while, I take 2.5 mg tablets when I get an attack and use oxygen to
see me through the period before the zomig starts working.

I find that it gives me a sensation of being very heavy limbed and I get a very
stiff heavy neck. It also makes me cough, I get the impression that my
lungs are full of mucus. The after effects I get are muscle stiffness and
I become a bit of an airhead for the rest of the day.

Other than that it does take the pain away, although just recently It's been taking
longer to take effect and It's not as affective at relieving the pain, but I'm not sure if
that's not because I'm at that time of year when my headaches are always worst.

Good luck, and have a pain free day.

Jonathan

(Always remember the pain does end, if only for a little while. Those little while's are
what we live for)
