I took it for a quite a long time, about a year on and off.
It's great because it does work and stop the headaches, or at
least it did for me, but be careful not to take it too long at
a time, and try to alternate it with other drugs giving you plenty
of time between periods on it.
I found the side effects too much for me in the end.
For me they were:
Insomnia
Jitteriness
severe depression
shaky hands
cold and hot sweats
and the sensation that my blood was boiling.
BUT PLEASE remember I had been on them for extended periods
and my doctor was not really notified of the regularity at which
I was taking the drugs as I sometimes worked overseas and so
wouldn't see the same doctor for medication each time. Just be careful how often
you use them.
(Always remember the pain does go away, if only for a little while. It's those little while's
that we live for :-) )
