25 years of these have addled my brain. The right side of my head must have a flat spot on it by now, from all the squeezing i've done. Imitrex has been my saviour except for the rebound headaches but at least their is some relief .I have just started a new cycle. Called my Neuro right away. He put me on Verapamil. I have never tried this med b4. I have now been on it for 6 days. What is the approx timeframe for it to possibly start working. Im not too excited about taking a drug that is for Blood pressure . I had it checked and it was 115/70 , which i know is pretty darn good. How long should i take the verapamil b4 i give up on it?
