I dont know if this is good advice or not.
But, children can and do deal with very serios conditions very well.Sometimes better than adults. It just takes time to teach them in a way they can understand. When you feel that the time is right i think your son would benift by knowing what is wrong with him.
Please let us know how you boath are doing from time to time.
