nasal spray! It's the only abortive that works
for me. It usually takes 11 minutes. But if I
don't take it at start of attack, it doesn't
work.
I'm angry that it costs $18/use, and I heard it's
not good for the heart, but I'd rather go broke
and risk a coronary than experience the excruciating
pain of clusters.
However, since you only get one attack/day for single
month periods, the risks and financial burden are
far less than those of us using it 2 to 3 times/day
for longer periods.
