Somehow we got to talking and I mentioned that after a long search I found the best doctor for me was my long-time GP here in Houston. When I mentioned that the problem was "cluster headaches" she nearly jumped out of her chair. It seems HER OTHER SON, an eleven year old, has had chronic clusters for a year now, and had never met anyone else who even knew what they were, besides her doctor, it seems.
I told her about this website where all these folks meet on the internet and help each other with the CH lifestyle. She was amazed. Maybe we'll see her around soon.
The funny thing about this is that the first son was born with a physical condition which apparently people notice right away. So he has gotten all the attention from the community. Meanwhile, the younger son gets this devil in his head and no where to go. Maybe until now.
