I started with my CHs within a year of having my fourth child, followed that year by a diagnosis & treatment of Graves Disease. I've often suspected that the onset of these headaches is in some way connected to major life stresses. I was 40 years old when I had my last child, and extrememly concerned about the outcome. (She's a very healthy 14 year-old, Thank God).
My HAs went away for a couple of years, until I developed another autoimmune disease called Sjogren's Syndrome (a cousin to Lupus). Lo and behold, the HAs started up in full force the very same year.
Another case in point is menopause, which I've gone through in the last 15 months; my cycles increased from once a year in the summer, to every four months.
There are certain chemicals that work overtime, when the body/mind, is going through a major event. (Gary, you would know more about that than I, and maybe you can comment about it.)
