plus yeast breads, chocolate and a whole bunch of other things I enjoy. It was a migraine list. It also 'recommended' avoiding alcohol, but said that if this wasn't possible, vodka and scotch are the 'purest' and should therefore be the 'booze of choice'. Scotch has always been my drink and let me tell you, it's a 100% trigger in cycle. As for everything else on the list, I eat almost all of them. Except baked beans which I don't like and pastries because sweets have never been a big part of my diet.

During cycle I can eat steak for breakfast, nuts as snacks, Chinese for lunch and pizza with extra cheese, sausage, salami and pepperoni for dinner. Or I can avoid them all. Clusters still come at their appointed times. [The only difference is my 'porcelain throne' time, which is a pain and does nothing to alleviate the clusters.] The only definitive consumption-related trigger I've ever found is alcohol...in any form. Beer, wine, scotch, vodka, cough syrup (ok, don't really know about this one, but I'm afraid to try). A few sips and 10 -15 minutes later I'm dancin' with the demon, scheduled time or not.
KTSSU,
T
