My husband went back to the neuro today. He prescribed him Imitrex injections. I have several concerns, first, I understand this is to be given subcoutanious, which he was NOT told. Second, he was not told how often to use this, third, he was not told where to inject-leg,stomach, arm, etc, and finally the side effects greatly concern me after reading the packaging. He says he will not use this as he doesn't think he can give himself a shot unless it were a 9 or 10. Any suggestions? I have called the Dr. back to clarify this, but no calls have yet been returned.
