I've suffered from periodic cluster migraines for almost 30 years. I've tried most everything for relief without success. My latest episode started on November 1. By December 3, I suffered through 43 headaches and had not slept all night for about 2 weeks. I went to Dr. Ross Hauser, 715 Lake St. Suite 600, Oak Park, Il. 60301, phone 708-848-7789. He gave me a series of injections on the right side of neck and shoulder called Prolotherapy. I had 10 more headaches until my last one on December 9. 4 of them were very intense, as usual. The rest were increasingly mild. Usually when I start an episode of headaches in November they last about 76 days. This episode lasted 40 days. Next time, I will see Dr. Hauser as soon as the headaches start. Prolotherapy worked for me and I would recommend it for others. I know this sounds like I'm a shill for Dr. Hauser, but I'm just so pleased it worked and I know what it's like to suffer through these episodes. TRY IT.
