Like all other first times of note, I remember only too well the confusion of being awakened with pains worse than childbirth. All 3 of my labors were over 24 hours each and I did it without drugs. Not bragging, I just have a very high tolerance to pain. But this head crusher nearly did me in. After about 4 hours I called and woke a neighbor and he took me to the emergency room and was treated with demerol. Then it is the round robin game of trying to find a doctor who will listen, then you try to not get on their nerves as the myriad of medications don't help. Go into the archives and print out as much relevant information as you need and give it to your doctor. Come armed with paper. Jamy
